We provide the worlds pre-eminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. We have more than 4000 lawyers operating from 58 offices worldwide in Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, the Americas and Central Asia.

Recognised for our industry focus, we are strong across all the key industry sectors: financial institutions; energy; infrastructure, mining and commodities; transport; technology and innovation; and life sciences and healthcare. Knowing how our clients' businesses work and understanding what drives their industries is fundamental to us.

Norton Rose Fulbright is currently seeking motivated and driven law students to complete a one-month long clerkship during the Winter or Summer break in our Brisbane office. Completing a Clerkship with us will be a challenging, rewarding and enjoyable experience. You will get first-hand experience of what it is like to work at a large legal practice and also get to know our Partners and employees and experience our culture of open communication and teamwork.

About the program

  • One month-long program during either Winter or Summer
  • World-class Learning & Development including legal skills training, systems training, soft skills workshops and practice group-specific information sessions

Our clerkship program links closely with our Graduate Program and completing a Clerkship allows you a direct opportunity to secure a Graduate position with us in 2022.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in cohesive teams
  • A genuine passion for the law
  • A strong and curious international outlook

If you have the opportunity to do a graduate program, take it and try as many different areas as you can!  You may think you know what type of law you want to specialise in, but you never know what is out there unless you give it a shot.
