The Sanofi Internship Program is a paid six-month program for undergraduates where you will gain hands-hands on' training through real-world experience in your chosen area of study.

Working 2 days a week alongside a supportive team, we will collaborate with you during this time to develop your skills in preparation for your entry into the corporate world.

As an intern, you will have a setlist of objectives and tasks to work towards. A designated mentor will work closely with you throughout the program, providing regular meetings to go over completed work and create a vision for future goals. You will also have monthly catch-ups and workshops with fellow interns to develop your soft skills

Our Health, Safety and Environment team are seeking a passionate and motivated intern to champion the sustainability initiatives for our Industrial Affairs site in Virginia. You must be able to commit to working 2 days a week at our offices in Virginia.

Your priorities in this role will include:

  • Coordinating and implementing the Sustainability Project for the Virginia site.
  • Conducting a full waste stream analysis of the site, including incoming materials such as ingredients and packaging.
  • Establishing a baseline of current sustainability metrics, including waste, water, gas and electricity usage throughout the site.
  • Highlighting and recommending improvements through existing knowledge or research conducted.
  • Drafting a sustainability action plan for the site.

Selection Criteria:

  • You must be currently in your penultimate year of an undergraduate degree studying Environmental Science or similar
  • Understanding of sustainability programmes and corporate social responsibility
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about environmental initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience or studies in conducting analysis
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Organised with the ability to manage your time efficiently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a can-do approach
